Ukraine, U.S. Start Talks in Riyadh
(MENAFN) Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced on Sunday that talks between Ukraine and the United States have officially started in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Umerov shared the news on X, stating that the discussions are in line with Ukrainian Leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy's directive to "bring a just peace closer and to strengthen security."
The discussions are centered around a variety of critical issues, such as suggestions aimed at protecting vital infrastructure as well as energy facilities.
Umerov highlighted that the talks involve addressing complex technical matters, with a delegation that includes both energy experts and military representatives from Ukraine's naval and air forces.
