NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF PERSONAL MANAGERS BACKS MOTION PICTURE, TELEVISION, AND ENTERTAINMENT REVITALIZATION ACT

National Conference of Personal Managers
The bill would establish a federal incentive designed to strengthen domestic film and television production and help keep entertainment jobs in the United States.
“NCOPM represents the thousands of managers who help build careers, businesses, and long-term opportunity in entertainment,” said Burke Allen, National President of the National Conference of Personal Managers. “When production leaves the U.S., it doesn’t just impact sets and studios — it impacts working-class families, local economies, and the entire creative pipeline. MPTERA is a practical step toward keeping good-paying entertainment jobs here at home, and we urge Congress to pass it without delay.”
“This is a jobs-and-competitiveness issue, plain and simple. The Motion Picture, Television, and Entertainment Revitalization Act is the kind of bipartisan solution that helps protect American workers and strengthens an industry that supports communities nationwide, not just in Los Angeles and New York. NCOPM is proud to stand with other entertainment industry advocates calling for swift passage,” added Allen. "NCOPM is proud to stand alongside AFM, DGA, IATSE, MPA, SAG-AFTRA, WGA, and numerous other organizations across the entertainment industry in shared solidarity."
NCOPM encourages its members, partners, and stakeholders across the entertainment ecosystem to support the legislation and to engage their elected representatives in favor of timely action. To take action, click here and Send a letter to Congress.
